We are currently developing a 60 bed Children's home in the northern part of Sri Lanka which was very badly affected by the war that left thousands of people refugees and a lot of children as orphans. This sits in a 4 acre complex with necessary facilities such as purpose built residential living, library, study and meeting rooms for community gathering , also the complex boast its own vegetable farming.

Lotus Children's Foundation is raising money for this project. In aid of this Sumi Thayan and few friends climbed Kilimanjaro , reaching the peak on the 22nd of May 2011. Many of you have sponsored Sumi's climb to Kilimanjaro , please support generously , your donations will mean we could make a huge difference to these children who orphans .
