The foundation gives all donation it receives towards good causes without deducting any expenses whatsoever as all administration expenses are funded by The Thayans family and Kingsley Healthcare Group of companies.

So far Lotus foundation has been helping to;

• Provided educational support initially to over 600 children affected by Tsunami through to their higher studies in Sri Lanka .
• We offer educational scholarship and vocational based training programmes for a number of children in Sri Lanka , Moscow, Malaysia, Kenya and India .
• Provide financially for the running of a number of children orphanages in Sri Lanka
• Provide Micro-finance support for parents of children supported by us, assisting in setting up smaller businesses in the South Sri Lanka

We are currently developing a 60 bed children's home in the northern part of Sri Lanka which was very badly affected by the war that left thousands of people refugees and a lot of children as orphans. This childrens homes are being built in a 4 acre complex with necessary facilities such as purpose built residential living,library, study and meeting rooms for community gathering, also the complex boast its own vegetable farming.
